Field Notes

Field Notes is a generative cartography study. Each token seeds a private topography — its rivers, contour lines, and place-names are the artist’s imagination filtered through deterministic noise. No two tokens repeat.

• Palette — five hand-tuned palettes, weighted toward the cooler end.
• Density — controls how much white space the cartography leaves.
• Glyph — the typeface used for place-names; one of three custom faces.
